Suppliers shall comply with all applicable laws and international labour standards in the respective country of operation concerning working hours and compensation, ensuring that each employee is paid at least the minimum wage and provided with mandated benefits. Additionally, Suppliers shall treat all employees with respect and dignity, maintaining a workplace free from harassment, coercion, abuse, or discrimination.
Health & Safety
Layfield is dedicated to environmental protection and compliance with all relevant public health, safety, and environmental regulations. Suppliers must adhere to all applicable health and safety laws, rules, and regulations in the respective country of operation, providing a safe working environment for their employees. Suppliers are expected to implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and programs and to provide appropriate training on such policies and procedures and programs.
Ethical Sourcing of Materials
Suppliers must exercise diligence in sourcing materials for Layfield orders, ensuring that their sourcing practices do not promote, or support forced and child labour, counterfeiting or benefit any groups involved in human rights abuses or violent conflicts.
Environment
Suppliers shall strive to minimize their environmental impact, operating at a minimum in compliance with all relevant environmental laws, rules, regulations, and international labour standards in the respective country of operation
Business Ethics
Layfield expects Suppliers to conduct their business with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and international labour standards in the respective country of operation. This includes refraining from forced and child labour, bribery, corruption, embezzlement, extortion, kickbacks, money laundering, anti-competitive practices, and any actions that may create conflicts of interest with Layfield.

By doing business with Layfield, you are deemed to have read and understand this Code. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the business relationship with Layfield Group.
